Primary schools plea for more money. Wednesday, October 01, 2008

The Irish Examiner today reported that "school managers have issued an urgent appeal to the Government to raise spending on their schools amid fears that further financial cutbacks could cause huge damage to the education of future generations.", read article online.

It's an interesting article and good to see more news coverage of the lack of funding. This will hopefully raise awareness, put pressure on the government to increase spending and release the money allocated for IT under the NDP 2007-13, but yet to be delivered.
